About the Story

Kyrie Eleison (Κύριε, ἐλέησον)
Translated from the Ancient Greek: Lord, have mercy. Simultaneously a petition and a prayer of thanksgiving; an acknowledgement of what God has done, what God is doing, and what God will continue to do.

The sun set a long while ago. In the long night that has stretched on since, Pandora has had ample time to think about who she used to be, what she's become, and what might lie ahead.

500 words. Created for the Anti-Romance Jam 2023 and Neo-Twiny Jam 2023.

Unhappy vampires at the end, July 25, 2023

This game was written for the Neo Twiny Jam in 500 words or less.

I like Vampire stories in general (original Dracula, Twilight series, VtM and its associated Choicescript Games, Interview with a Vampire when I was a kid). This game plays on the relationship between a vampire and her Creator, and their back and forth pain.

It was well written in general, but there was so much left unsaid. A lot of the descriptions are vague generalities that hit the right notes but might (for my personal taste, maybe not same as author) benefit from having a bit more specificity from time to time. I feel like this author must be good at writing dreams.

Not so merciful…, July 14, 2023

… is the “kindness of the vampire”.
Spared from the release of death, a vampire transforms you into her kind, no matter your protest. Forced to live as an undead, forgetting what it meant to be alive, human, despair takes a hold of you. Until you repay your Maker her kindness…
The imagery from the prose is delectable. A succulent and dark short piece.
