Baf's Guide

Short slice-of-life game about being a college student who has been through some recent trauma. Puzzles are relatively simple and sparse, though there may be some guess-the-verb moments. The built-in hints help with this. The main emphasis is on discovering the story background. Vaguely reminiscent of "A Moment of Hope" and similar pieces.

SPAG
I'd encourage the author to write more IF, but also to look into improving traditional story-telling techniques, particularly characterization and plot structure. There's promise in the care that went into "Solitary", but it would be better put in service of a richer story and more accomplished writing.

A small game about a student and about mourning, August 15, 2017

Related reviews: 15-30 minutes

This is a game of the same sort of Wrenlaw, but smaller and less well implemented. You try to examine a variety of objects in your college dorm to unlock memories about a former love

It is not polished, but I enjoyed playing it, and it didn't overstay its welcome. If you like On Optimism or A Moment of Hope, you'd like this.

Very Short Games by tggdan3
Games that can be completed in less than 30 mintues. Need not be one room (though that obviously helps). Hopefully, the games are fun as well.

No map necessary by Divide
Pieces which can be fully enjoyed without drawing map, ideally without taking any notes whatsoever. Ones which you could play on a bus, on a break, laying on bed, etc. with nothing but a portable player. Games for which you don't need...
