Compact, well-conceptualised RPG, July 31, 2016

This entry in Twiny Jam uses the 300 word limit and a endlessly looping structure (similar to It is Not So Much a Story) to create a landscape. It's remarkably evocative, and in terms of content, it's similar in spirit to vale of singing metals.

Singular is well-conceptualised and, like The Tiniest Room, makes full use of the 300 word limit. For its size, there is progress, of a sort. There is a world to explore in little chunks. Take a little more time than you might and you might discover something unexpected.

minimalist masterpiece, December 18, 2017

that sadly dead ends in two spots: explosion after the betrayer (I assume this is the death state but it'd better use a restart/undo prompt.) and terrified after the bastard; and loops rage after the murderer. (But the victory action implies this is the win state?)

These are your beginning attributes: cowardly ‌‌‌‌wealthy ‌‌‌‌unlucky ‌‌‌‌healthy ‌‌‌‌‌clumsy ‌‌‌‌‌‌baffling ‌‌‌‌‌‌smoke ‌‌‌‌‌‌chattering; and best/fullest end attributes: ‌‌courageous wealthy ‌‌‌‌destined ‌‌‌‌superior ‌‌‌companions ‌‌‌‌‌‌honed ‌‌‌‌‌‌epiphany ‌‌‌‌‌‌distilled ‌‌‌‌‌‌focus ‌‌cleansed ‌‌defiled ‌prayed ‌bitten ‌‌‌secret ‌supplies ‌‌‌artifact ‌‌‌advice ‌herbs ‌‌sword ‌plan ‌ring ‌gift ‌oathtaker ‌blessed ‌buried ‌burned ‌haunted ‌imbued. Most of the latter likely don't determine how you fare in the endgame; certain ones likely do or expand the options, but usually more than one option passes you. The only other 300-word game I'v ever played was little mermaids which was a lame nongame, so I didn't know what to expect here.
