An in-joke twine game where everyone is named after forum members, February 3, 2016

This game is essentially just a way to cram the names of a lot of people from a certain Twine forum into a game. If you aren't one of those people, there is not any real reason to play the game, because the names are distracting.

Perhaps the author could include a version in the future that allows you to toggle back and forth between the usernames and more ordinary names.

So much fun!, May 18, 2015

This is a quick way to engage your mind and have some fun! The writing of the game paints a vivid picture so the reader feels as if they are actually there. Super well written and fun to make decisions to see where they lead you. I loved it! Make more!!

Though VERY short, the game was fun overall and still gives agency to the player where possible.

It DOES have a few different endings (and when you consider that was all done WITHIN the 1000-word limit (including the code), that's not so bad).

The names used will likely seem odd or non-standard. This was done because they are used as "thank-you's" for the people that helped me create it.

Thank you again, to everyone!

Funny and wacky little game!, May 18, 2015

I am new to the forum so I did not know about all the references to actual people here, but I still thought it was hilarious. I did not know there were some inside jokes so I just assumed it was a wacky type humor and I loved it. Now that I know it incorporated real people I like it more. It's not easy to stay withing the amount of words especially for this type of writing so I say I have to give it five starts for creating a very humorous little piece that is still feels complete.

An A+ for working within constraints…, May 18, 2015

While I gave this game a 2/5 within the world of Interactive Fiction games, I would most surely give it a 5/5 based on the fact that it was written to satisfy a competition rule for writing an IF game in under 1,000 words (http://twinery.org/forum/discussion/2778/super-sudden-surprise-challenge-harlowe-1-000).

With this being said, the writing is solid and pays homage to the pulp fiction genre. The situation is fun and intriguing and presents the player with clear choices and subsequent endings. (Not to mention that I’m one of characters in the story.)

This is a very well-structured, but short experiment that is both enjoyable and humorous.
