A chicken-themed parody of Spider and Web, May 28, 2016

This game was entered in chicken comp, where all chickens had to cross the road.

It is just a parody of Spider and Web, with some spoilers. You have a menu of topics to say, displayed in the status line, and you pick them.

Overall, it was mildly amusing, but seemed to have been put together in a hurry.

There's not that much more to say about the game.

Funny, but not perfect, October 21, 2007

This parody of Spider and Web is amusing, if a little hit-and-miss. The best parts were the overly-serious parodies of the original dialogue of Spider and Web; the endings weren't nearly as interesting. This is no doubt partly because I really liked the dialogue from Spider and Web, and this parody recalls that to me.

However it ends, though, this game is worth playing for anyone who enjoyed Spider and Web.

Entirely parody, October 21, 2007

This is a pretty entertaining send-up of the later portions of Spider and Web. It is spoilery and incomprehensible if you haven't played the original game; worth the five minutes of amusement if you have.

Baf's Guide

This game is a grest send-up of Andrew Plotkin's "Spider and Web". Strapped to an interrogation chair, you have to answer questions or be put to death. Of course, if you haven't played Andrew's game, this one won't be quite as funny. In any case, you know you're in for a good time when the credits include the line "Chicken by God."
