Frankendrift has very high compatibility with Adrift 5. In the time of writing, work is being done on implementing it into the multi-interpreter Gargoyle.

About the Story

The German Resistance consisted of small, isolated groups that were unable to mobilize widespread political opposition. Still, successful disclosure of information regarding Nazi armaments factories to the Allies occurred.

You are such a brave soul and you have managed to come very close to Hitler's inner circle. During a meeting in Berlin, Spring 1942, you will have the opportunity to get some crucial information. The meeting is held on the ground floor of a nine-storey building.

However, it is believed that your secret affiliation has just been compromised and that this news will soon reach Hitler and his most trusted men around him. But the meeting is too important to skip.

Thus, the German Resistance has an escape plan for you: As soon as you have received the much needed information, you will leave the meeting room. However, the front door is heavily guarded so you will have to take the elevator to the roof, where a parachute has been hidden. You must then parachute down to the nearby park where the Resistance will have a car waiting for you...

Winner of the 2022 ADRIFT jam.

Time-limited and tight puzzles, April 7, 2024

This game was a light little puzzle about escaping a building. The puzzles were short and time-limited, and it felt a few times like I had done everything right, before realising that I hadn't - but when I realised what i had to do, it felt good (a nice puzzle, the elevator one).

Unfortunately, i got stuck at certain points, and the hints were no help. They also took up time in the game, which was very annoying because then I couldn't get the next hint (undoing removes it). And I found it extra annoying was when I tried to CUT THE WIRE WITH THE CLIPPERS, and it didn't work. I was stumped there for quite some time.

Overall, a mixed feelings game with some nice puzzles and timing but badly implemented parts. I would recommend playing it, either way.
