Superstition season two is wonderful! Everything you like/dislike about season one is bigger and better in season two, with added drama and angst particularly centered around the romance subplots.
I really love Chris' character and romance arc, and I'm super interested in seeing how he grows in later seasons. The new romance options are interesting, there's really someone for everyone in the game.
I appreciate the role-playing options we're given for Roe, they're such an interesting main character. I'm ready to continue making a bunch of saves for different playthroughs just to see each little variation.
Superstition is overall fun and generally good in giving the player characterisation autonomy. But there's a scene here where you're forced to see your MC and the gang have no problem at all in murdering innocents? Literally hired to kill a bunch of people just for being born a hybrid, and not a single person has a problem with that. Did I miss something??
Also, despite there being a trans option, the game treats you the same way as if you were cis. Which wouldn't be that much of an issue if it didn't have sex scenes.
It has its flaws. But it's a free game, and for that, it's more than a good bargain. I suspect it started as a self-insert daydream of Supernatural, the TV series.
