Download the Zip archive to play in Frotz. The downloaded game opens in Gargoyle but is not playable.

	Play Online Some VPN configurations may cause page load issues in the browser. Your mileage may vary.
	Zip archive The downloadable .zip file provides two formats: .html and .ulx. While the .ulx game did load in Gargoyle most of the links did not work. On MacOS, the .ulx file is playable in Spatterlight. Loading the .html version in a browser provides the most seamless option to play this game as of 11-2022.

About the Story

The last light has gone. The stars are coming out in the black sea above. Many are hidden by ice-fingered winds. My father is still not returned and the fire is almost gone.

But this is how life is: always an edge. A thin sheet on a diving-deep pool.

I hope he will return soon. I cannot summon him.

The Colder Light is a short story playable entirely without a keyboard.
