IFComp 2017 Review: Insignificant Little Vermin by Filip Hracek
Despite all the tropeyness, I must say Insignficant Little Vermin is an enjoyable experience. It rings enough changes to the established formulas to keep the player engaged, whilst delivering all the combat, bad-ass dialogue and schoolboy wish-fulfilment you would come to expect from the genre. It's like a Fighting Fantasy adventure gamebook with all the boring bits chopped out: it gets straight to the action.
