You crashed into a tree next to a creepy old mansion. Before you know it, your kid brother wandered off, probably into the mansion. Find your brother and call a tow truck or taxi before the evil spirits of the mansion claim both of you forever.

Brilliant reimplementation!, June 5, 2013

David has done a great job capturing the suspense and humor of the original Mac game. In fact, the horror elements are more effective when rendered in text than they were in the tiny black&white graphics of that early era. All the amusing asides and hidden discoveries are there, too, including some major finds that nearly no one apparently remembers any more. Anyone who enjoyed the original should definitely play this, and those who are only now discovering Uninvited through this new version will want to go out to find an old Mac Plus to experience the original as well.

Uninvited - Burn Your Invitation If It Arrives, May 31, 2019
by Canalboy (London, UK.)

The above is an old MAC game purportedly having new life breathed into it and available as an enhanced z code game.

Unfortunately it has all the old frustrations of pre "Bill Of Rights" days.

Limited Inventory Limit? Check. You can carry approximately seven items despite there being over twenty five portable objects in the first fifteen locations that I visited.

Sudden Death? Check. You may never see Gone With The Wind in the same light again. Lordy lordy Miss Scarlett.

Time Limit? Check. This is obviously a large game but all ended after 334 moves.

It's a shame as this could have been a good game with the above issues addressed and a thorough proof reading. Why oh why is it so difficult to spell check a document?

But frankly as it is my dear, I just don't give a damn.
