Cute game about life as a crow, October 19, 2025

This is actually a really cute game. I loved the concept of being able to play a game from the perspective of a crow. The language lends to that with some decriptive words dropped in to describe people/places/other animals in place of their "human" names. It seems to be on a timer so you can't do everything before the days end, and lends itself to replaying where you investigate one or two story threads at a time. I actually did find myself invested in trying to find out the answers to the questions like what happened to (Spoiler - click to show)Penny, and our feathered and furry friends?

This is a game I'd love to see have a post release with a bit more content. There were a few bugs here and there, and it sometimes seemed difficult to be sure what you were supposed to do. I think it might be unfinished also? For example, I could not see any way to (Spoiler - click to show)save the dog or find out who had been tormenting him. The fact that it feels a bit unfinished is the main reason for the 3* as I did really enjoy the overall feel of the game.

As the crow flies, October 6, 2025

A simple but endearing game. You play as a member of a flock... I mean murder of crows, and you spend the day doing simple crow stuff.

It's probably the crow-equivalent of a slice of life game, where you do all manner of unremarkable but fun things without much of an overarching plot or goal. Crows are pretty cute animals here, going on adventures, picking up shiny things and playing with non-feathered creatures like dogs and humans. The premise could make for some light hearted fun.

Still, this game is rough. I ran into some bugs, like a dead end and an error message telling me that some code broke down. There were a few typos, and spacings between paragraphs weren't always consistent.

It's a short game and can be a pretty rough experience. Still, it might be worth it for some light-hearted reading.

Twine game where you play as a group of crows, September 27, 2025
Related reviews: 15-30 minutes

This is a Twine game designed to be played in a relatively short time (I think someone mentioned that it will end after a certain number of moves).

You play as a group of crows, one of whose members, Noodle, has been injured recently. You can undertake various activities like taking revenge against humans, visiting a friendly human, and investigating a dog.

The crows are simple-minded and can be rude but seem like softies at heart. The language the game uses is simple and charming.

It was often difficult to know what actions I could do and where I could go next, or what plans to make. I suppose, like other reviewers have said, maybe that is indicative of life for a murder of crows, swarming around and trying different things over and over.
