About the Story

You are Grey Star. From the core of a raging storm you appeared - a human child, ship-wrecked and orphaned, a gift of hope to the exiled Shianti sorcerers. Ever since that fateful night they have raised you as one of their own, teaching you the mysteries of their magic in preparation for an epic quest.

The time has now come. You must find the legendary Moonstone and with its power crush the evil Wytch-king of Shadaki. For only you can save the land of your birth from the cruel grip of his empire. But be warned! Ahead lies a terrifying journey into the unknown where survival or death confronts you with every turn of the page.

This app includes all 4 books covering "The World of Lone Wolf" collection.

This application makes use of the internet edition of the books, as collected, edited, corrected and re-published at www.projectaon.org

Use the options menu to gain access to the map, to your inventory and to all the options for the game; if you enjoy the game, please support it by donating through the in-game interface.

Create and save more profiles, select you favorite Magical powers, carefully choose your way exploring the world of Sommerlund, play and replay the game for free for as long as you like; if you find any bugs, you can send me a report in real-time through the game-interface.

I want to remark, I do not own any rights regarding the books; Grey Star is a creation of the great Joe Dever, and the Internet editions used in this application belong to the staff and members of www.projectaon.org; I am, however, responsible for everything regarding the algorithms and interfaces of this application.

I hope you will enjoy your adventures in the Magnamund!

"In my dreams I am the Wizard Master!", March 28, 2022

The World of Lone Wolf by Ian Page was a 4-book spin-off from Joe Dever's Lone Wolf gamebook series, featuring a new magic-focused character in a distant part of Magnamund. This mini-series shook up the formula quite a bit: Grey Star the Wizard is often accompanied by chatty and memorable sidekicks unlike the lonesome Lone Wolf, he was raised on an isolated island so is naive in the ways of the world, and not being a warrior means combat can be extremely difficult (even impossible at times) and to be avoided at all costs. You do have multiple cool magic tricks up your sleeve but they eat up willpower points which are hard to recover.

This Android adaptation is from the developer of the excellent Lone Wolf Saga: it naturally has the same high-quality UI and QoL features, and is again free.
