About the Story

Winter in June by Katie Moses

A game about depression. This game takes a close look at a personal experience, and serves as a commentary on for-profit mental health spaces. It was created as a method of processing a traumatic event in my personal life. Please take note of the trigger warning just after the title page. This game might be challenging to sit through, but I truly appreciate you taking the time.

Multiple playthroughs recommended.

Games exploring trauma and other messy subject matter by Kastel
Looking for, as Nathalie Lawhead puts it, art caught between “everything is horrible”, “everything is survivable”, and “this is too hard to talk about”. I'm interested in how people explore the messy things in life through IF engines.
