No more tickets? Noooooo! , January 28, 2024

This is a short, easily played game, and thoroughly enjoyable and fun with lots of little references to the scifi movie genre. I enjoyed the replayability, getting to try out all the different ways of trying to make your way into the premiere of the latest installment of your favourite movie franchise after you accidentally overslept only to find it sold out when you arrive.

A short branching game about trying to get into a sci fi movie, January 25, 2024

Related reviews: less than 15 minutes

This is a short humorous twine game about trying to crash a screening for a new movie.

It uses 'copyright safe' versions of famous movies (for instance, your character is holding a 'light saver').

There are a lot of branches, and while there is some continuity between choices, each one is pretty random.

Overall, the game is pretty brief. Most of what's here is funny, but overall this felt more like a light snack than a substantial work.

Pocking fun at hardcore fans?, January 12, 2024

In this short Twine adventure, you play as a "fake Star Wars/Trek" fan, excited to see the anticipated new movie. Fan as you are, you even have a whole costume, with accessories, ready for the event. But *oh noooo!*... you didn't manage your time correctly and find yourself unable to get inside the movie theatre. Your goal is to find a way in and see the movie, whatever the cost!

The game provides you with different possible actions, branching into different fail/success scenarios - some funny, some pretty embarrassing. It's clear the PC feels very entitled to a spot in the event, even if it was their own fault they didn't get there - ready to even start a riot, if that is what is needed.
