Probably everyone who likes to be creative in one or the other way will find something to relate to in this interactive piece of fiction. I found the beginning rather depressive, but the texts became more encouraging after some time, and I found myself between the lines. I must say that the aspects pointed out were very comprehensible.
The interactivity is often limited to only one choice, so clicking it is like simply turning a page to the next paragraph. The language is quite simple, but the content is sensible. It is a good start for the author.
Talentless Hack deals with self-confidence and motivation, things that any creator has to face at some point. The formatting could have been improved(Spoiler - click to show) (merely a suggestion, seeing as I had the same problem: empty spaces where past choices were can be removed by placing the extra spaces inside the 'if' condition). Also, even though the middle of the game contains choices, they don't affect the story progression. This is nonetheless a great debut Twine with a cool theme. Keep it up :)
when I thought of interactive fiction. This was a really good first effort and spoke to my own internal struggles with starting the creation process.
I'm looking forward to what Tami makes in the future!
