About the Story

This is a good, old-fashioned treasure hunt. Your adventure starts in a small room with a portrait on the wall. Your objective is to find the 14 treasures and return them to the store room adjacent to the starting location.

After a little bit of exploring, you will find that this adventure appears to be tiny - only five easily accessible rooms. If you can remember some basic road-safety rules from your school days, you should be able to find another two rooms and your first treasure. Hey, there's got to be more to this! I wonder if it's got something to do with that portrait on the wall? After all, this is called 'Portrait Dungeon', isn't it?

This adventure was originally published in Computer & Video Games, issue 42, vol. 4, no. 7, April 1985, pp. 64-8, 73.
