Baf's Guide

Wander around in a huge mansion full of anachronisms, looking for the crystals that will return everything to its proper time. Lots of death. Some things are distributed randomly, with the result that death is sometimes unavoidable. Other than that, it's extremely easy, if only because the parser is too primitive to make difficult puzzles possible. Endgame plays music on the PC internal speaker.

SynTax
House at the Edge of Time is a classic text adventure which I have found very interesting in the short - , totally baffling in the medium - , and unless I stumble across a clue, impossible in the long - term. The rooms in the house are reached by entering the usual instructions, though there is no guarantee that you will still be in the same time dimension when you get to them.
