You awaken in the middle of the night craving a snack. The story can be won in as little as 30 moves, but one misstep along the way could result in a cascading comedy of errors and a night of insomnia.

I've played the game and been in contact with the developer which were very forthcomming when I suggested some changes or showed him how I broke the game - which he of course fixed.
I think the game is fun - especially if you (Spoiler - click to show)mess it up but if you do it right you also get the experience of playing IF in the old days.
Midnight Snack is an beginner-friendly game revolving around getting out of bed, making and eating a sandwich, and going back to sleep. You are graded on how fast you can complete the game. Once you're aware of the few caveats you need to take care of before getting to bed (turning off the lights and sinks, putting away your butter knife and food), it doesn't take too long to beat the game with the best rank. I think this game could be good for introducing someone to basic parser gameplay.
