Very short space adventure, October 30, 2020
by JimB

This is a very short game, as can be expected being made for a Speed-IF competition. But since you probably die the first time you can enjoy at least a second playthrough to reach a real ending(Spoiler - click to show) - and then play it once more for an alternate ending.
The text is good to read and the text messages that describe the surroundings made me feel like I'm in a hurry to solve the situation.

Overall I had fun playing the game and got more out of it than I expected.

Unpacking boxes and the story behind, October 7, 2020
by JimB

A nice little one room game where the main activity is to decorate a room. Not the most exciting task on its own, but the background story unfolds slowly through comments of the PC making the basic activity of moving and placing items way more interesting than it would be on its own. Having only one task to do reduces the amount of verbs you need to get through the game: examine, open, take and put in/on are all you need.

A very helpful command in this game is "Look for space", which lists all places where there is still room to place an item or if the spot is full. This made it very easy to get an overview of all the possible spots where sth could be placed.

A short game that just put enough stones in my way, so that I then wanted to move them out of the way and kept me busy while wondering what the background story was.

Examining the universe, October 11, 2019

This is a one-way exploration adventure through a world that the player can examine for a good amount of time. With the topic of the game being one of my greatest interests it had an easy time to entertain me.
With this additional topic knowledge it became a fun puzzle to examine all the non-obviously-described objects, although the game doesn't have any real puzzle that would block the player from actual game progression.

One of the few negative points I can come up with is that I couldn't find some objects that I expected to be implemented but weren't. Like (Spoiler - click to show)Saturn's rings (I expected them after finding Jupiter's Great Red Spot), small planets like Ceres and Vesta, because Makemake was in the game for some reason, and then there was no asteroid belt, Saturn's biggest moon Titan, and so on. You can spent some time with this little game to find and not find these objects. Most of these objects weren't mentioned by the game text in any way so I was happily surprised finding some of them, and was only shortly disappointed not finding them.
