he author’s classification as “educational” is correct, and this KN (Kinetic Novel) narrates the story of an lonely & abandoned former mall, and the broader context of its construction, ending with an appeal not to repeat the past mistakes of demolishing & rebuilding, advocating its refurbishment and repurposing (indeed the lone interior picture clearly shows that is perfect for thing like conventions & exhibitions…)
As a political scientist, I can clearly see how KN can became a powerful advocacy tool. And at the same time, as an Historian, I can easily see also its value as educational tool.

Was a very mediocre commercial UK game of 1980, back then, not worth the price tag.

without it, perhaps ends forgotten in few years, if not months, being an rather primitive and juvenile "adult" interactive history.
But his "detachable stiffness" gives Makane a long live, encompassing many unofficial, and increasily better, sequels, in the true spirit of Italian "commedia dell' Arte".
but sadly his stiffness is now firm (no double entendre, really !)

'nuff said. even when experimenting with an IF language, Uncle Zarf always manage to create unusual stories.
