All of these games have been made using Harlowe, and can easily be imported into your Twine platform where you can learn from them. To import a game from this list into your Twine platform:
.) Click the link.
.) Play the game. Note that you'll have to read the screen contents on the main landing page to identify where the link to play the game is.
.) Right-click in the game and select "View Source" or "View Frame Source" (exact language may be different on your computer).
.) Note: Some games will be hosted on sites that embed the games in an <iframe/>. Some games will be hosted on a site that is devoted to the game, and it is not embedded in an <iframe/>. Philome.la and itch.io games are hosted in <iframe/>s. "View Frame Source" for games embedded, and "View Source" for others. Look for a bit of text "<tw-story>"--that is the source you're looking for!
.) Select ALL the <HTML> code from the source, copy it, and paste it into a NotePad or TextEdit document. Save that file with a good title and the file extension .html. For instance, "Open_Sorcery.html".
.) In your Twine platform, click "Library," then "Import," and navigate to your saved game, like Open_Sorcery.html.
