About the Story

One of the largest, longest and most difficult text adventure games ever made. You must control two characters at the same time in a surrealistic fantasy world. (If you need more information about the Hungarian original, please rather click over to that (see here: A gálya); there are much more further links and downloads, reviews etc. over there.)

The main scene is a closed island kingdom called Athar, isolated from the outside world for centuries. Every ship trying to sail over the sea is lost since then. But one day the wreckage of a strange, foreign ship appears by the shore without its former crew (but loaded with a lot of unknown, modern instruments), totally disturbing the life. You have got two characters to play at once: Tongrak the barbarian, and Raernon the self-styled, young magician, who are brothers, and they must save their country, by preventing a threatening civil war. They need to find a mythical and ancient ship - The Galleon - and disembark towards the outer ocean, searching for the other world. (It is a satiric and parodistic, absurd fantasy - with an intelligent parser and a world-modelling system.)
