I've played it years ago and a few times finished! But now when i try to play again, i forgot the walkthrough :'( and now i can't finish this game again like before

i stuck in the (Spoiler - click to show)whistling walls and rippling walls that leading to northwest or northeast.

I remember i can go to these directions :'( and those directions was the end of story. But now why i can't go to the direction again?
