About the Story

An accident to a carriage and mail coach strand a group of strangers in a desolate stretch of coastland. The only source of shelter is an ancient, rambling estate, where neither servants nor master appear to be at home.

"The House on the Cliff" is a Versu game, featuring rich character autonomy and a wide variety of possible interactions and endings. It uses a social AI engine developed by Richard Evans, and is published by Linden Lab. Illustrations by Adam Murphy.

It appears this game is no longer available as Linden Labs, which acquired the IP, has discontinued development.
