About the Story

Twenty-five years ago, the Duke abandoned his family in Vienna.

Twenty years ago, the Duchess sought him in London. He blinded her. She died in Vienna.

Today, their daughter descends to the Neath. She has her mother's bloodied bandages, three leads to her father, and a knife.

The Waltz that Moved the World was an odd experience. It deals with very "big scope" lore, and yet it's a pretty intimate story. There are appearances from major characters that work well to deepen their characterization, but they also don't get in the way of the core plot about a family torn apart by the Great Game.
