About the Story
Nuevamente el Dr Van Halen inicia una oscura investigación en torno a un escalofriante hallazgo. Esta es el séptimo capítulo de la saga, basada en los manuscritos del Dr. Van Halen descubiertos recientemente y actualmente en posesión de Lord Kingsley. Los diarios de Watson no constatan la relación de Holmes y el Dr. Van Halen, evidentemente al considerar Watson que la humanidad no estaba preparada para los casos en que está metido el Dr. Van Halen. Pero, en "The Adventure of the Creeping Man", claramente relacionado con los sucesos acontecidos en Suiza (la fecha está hábilmente manipulada) Watson registra las palabras finales de Holmes: "When one tries to rise above Nature, one is liable to fall below it.
