This game is messing with you, November 6, 2026

In this game, the main character you control is your antagonist; the character is frequently messing up your plans.

This is also a game that requires you to SEARCH stuff, a mechanic I quite dislike. Good puzzle solutions should be surprising but inevitable in hindsight; SEARCH is almost never that. Once you know you need to search, you just have to search everything, and the game rarely provides a rewarding response for searching something that doesn't need searching.

As far as I know, there's only one place where you have to SEARCH, but you can't know where that is until you search the right thing and find it. It feels tedious doing all that searching and getting generic responses.

I don't know how the player is supposed to figure out how to get past the Bedroom without GET ALL, which isn't really hinted even in the HELP text.

The endings are mostly silly.

And that's unfortunate, because the game gives you the feeling that the "consumed" ending was near to some clever way to defeat the monster, or at least get some cool lore out of the monster, but you can't. Being able to talk to the monster (more than the one line the monster gets) would have made the ending a lot more interesting.
