So, part of this may be because I haven't played any other felt animals games yet, but I wish more had been done with that aspect of the story! A lot of world stuff happens near the beginning, where I love the perspective switching. I think more of that would have been cool (more agents dispatched, perhaps?) The (Spoiler - click to show)mind control puzzle playing with the nature of IF parsers was a very nice touch which I enjoyed.
In general I'd say atmosphere is good, but it could have been taken a lot further-- there is something hilarious and adorable about little stuffed animals being hardboiled detective spies, and this could have been played up more for humor. The game takes some steps towards poking fun at classic spy movie tropes, but more of that would have been nice.
There are a few things where I don't really understand their purpose: (Spoiler - click to show)the beer bottle, the point of a lot of the island section, and the ability to take off your tuxedo.
Overall I'd give this like 2.5-3.5 stars.

This game apparently shares some level of continuity with "Chimeric Island!" How delightful! And it is in fact revealed that, besides reusing the dedicated parser, Inverted Normals utilized some random doll generation material written for "Mr Cuddle Cuddle Bop Bop" in "Chimeric Island," or the other way around! This is clever, but it also seems like an exploit. I don't know how to feel about this. ...

I want something without "adult themes" and reasonless violence but kinda goofy and a tad violent
