Long ago, the land of Eldor had a life force (Chi) which flowed smoothly across the world. But now, thanks to a nefarious evil, known as the Shadow Demon, a lurking, all-powerful force has sucked the life out of the land.
Armed with only a dagger and your wits, you must venture deep within Eldor to uncover the truth about the evil permeating the landscape. Along the way, you will battle the evil spawn of the Shadow Demon, sucked up from the bowels of hell itself! Dare you conquer the Shadow Demon?

I had just played Fetter's Grim and Westfall (or Westport or whatever it is), as well as a few other Panks games.
This game has all the usual suspects: a village, a tavern, a cathedral on the west side of town with a nook to the north, jokes about the author being drunk or not being drunk, a hellhound that is in the first dark forest area south of town, etc. exactly what's in all the other games.
It doesn't understand 'X' or 'TAKE' even though other Panks games in the same year do. It's just bizarre.

Despite being simple in every respect of the word, I rather enjoyed this small adventure and role-playing game. Although "Green Falls" features a bare, cliched plotline, the hack-and-slash combat and simple adventure-quest feel work in this game better than in most like it, due in part to many of the room descriptions which say a lot in few words and paint a vivid picture. Additionally, the map is well laid out, and the geography gives the impression of a vast area without many locations.
