About the Story

With the #MeToo movement so prevalent in today’s society, our Creative Activist Project is geared to bring a more profound understanding to the burdensome choices an individual has to make after they have been assaulted.

Our project creates a first person experience where users choose between simple everyday tasks or options leading up to the assault. The game then guides users through potential actions they make take following the assault.

After completing all choices, or in other words, coming to the end of the game, statistics concerning the #MeToo movement will be stated, as well as, options for those who have suffered these inconceivable acts can receive support, if they haven’t already done so.

After hearing and reading accounts from numerous survivors, the question that is constantly asked, in one form or another, is, “Why didn’t you do something or say something about it sooner?” Through the use of this first person gaming experience, we hope to help others who have never been placed in this terrible position understand that the answer isn’t always as straightforward as others would prefer. The #MeToo movement has been inconsequential in shattering the norms of how society discusses assault. Our goal with this Creative Activist Project is to bring greater understanding of assault in an unconventional manner.
