The link to this game does not go anywhere. I have to assume that the author has not actually put the game online.
Also, the synopsis "this is just a test story filled with bad spelling" does not inspire me with confidence that this is something that needs to have a page on IFDb, at least not until it has been developed into something the author considers viable.

That is irrelevant. This is not a site to announce your WiPs. This is a database for completed (or IntroComp) games. It's not even optimised to announce future games; if you do, you lose the powerful tool that is "Hey look, a new listing at IFDB!" that only appears when you actually create the listing for the first time.
EDIT - The publication date is now in the past. Still no game. Again: this is NOT what IFDB is for, and this entry should just be deleted.

I agree. If the author decides it's worth publishing (by their own own admission I don't think they do, but let's skim over that); if the author decides that this is worth being publicly available as a measure of their game-making skill; then who are we to say no.
ANYWAY, we might have the wrong end of the stick. The author did try to upload, they just didn't know how. You'll notice the link goes to an offline location.
Author, if you're reading this, you'll need to upload the game somewhere. If you have Twitter you can check philome.la. Linking to your hard drive won't do much good, I'm afraid. :)
