About the Story

In a time long forgotten, you remain as the sole prisoner in this lone tower.

All you recall is that—you were cursed and locked away to atone for the crimes you committed.

Countless days pass by, with your needs reduced to nothing, unable to grow old or wither away. Your only company is yourself, and the worn-out spellbooks.

Until a fateful day, as you aimlessly glance outside of the window, something catches your eye...

A story about an immortal prisoner locked away in a tower, who finally has a motivation to escape. The options are either "keep trying to escape" or "give up and stay inside the tower".

Alone in the Tower is a short fantasy Twine piece where you are locked in a tower, forgotten and cursed. As you watch life continuing on outside of your window, you must find the courage and motivation to attempt an escape (and continuing to push through to break the different blocks in your way). Or you can, at every step, riddled with doubts, give up and return to the comfort of your room, letting life pass you by again…
It was neat the see the background changing as you move along the path.
