Amara

Amara is an interactive fiction set in near-future Lagos (2038), where the player investigates a care facility that appears to be involved in something far beyond standard medical treatment.

The story unfolds through natural-language conversations with characters rather than traditional dialogue choices. The player must ask questions, gather information, and connect clues independently to understand what is happening and how to act.

As the investigation progresses, it becomes clear that the children in the facility are not simply patients. The narrative explores themes of biotechnology, medical ethics, and the economic systems surrounding advanced healthcare.

The experience is structured as a sequence of conversations and discoveries, where progress depends on the player’s ability to extract relevant information and interpret it correctly.
