About the Story

Lost Beyond the Xanthor Gates is a parser-driven sci-fi survival adventure set on the edge of a broken interstellar transport system.

The ancient gates were never meant to fail. They require three anchor points to function, but on Xanthor only two remain. The third was destroyed mid-use during a long-ago battle, leaving debris scattered in orbit and a mystery frozen in time. You awaken from cryo on a failing gate-point station with missing memories, dwindling resources, and systems that only work because they have not stopped yet. Below, the planet holds ruins, wreckage, and the quiet evidence of civilizations that used the network and vanished.

Explore the station, descend to Xanthor, and piece together what happened through fragments of returning memory. Early progress is methodical and tense, then escalates into high-pressure, turn-limited hazards where planning matters and mistakes can be lethal. Your choices shape what you learn and what you lose.

In the end, there is no fixing the gate. There is only survival: escape the planet by repairing or finding a way off-world, or send a rescue signal knowing it may attract something you did not intend.
