About the Story

What happens when it’s after-hours at the Colossal Cave and you’re
still inside?

One of my favorite gaming memories is being carried off in victory by
the elves at the end of the original Colossal Cave adventure by
Willie Crowther and Don Woods.

I’ve written a small adventure game as a tribute to this venerable
game and to satisfy my desire to go back into the cave for more fun.
The game is online at the Scratch website. Scratch is a computer
language that allows beginning programmers to easily create multimedia
projects, however, my project is just text, only text (which was
harder than it sounds).
