Baf's Guide

Hilarious spoof of a broad range of TV shows, including Brady Bunch, Three's Company, the Mary Tyler Moore Show, and Bewitched. Most of the jokes turn on familiarity with those shows (and a few others), so you're unlikely to appreciate this one if you're not well acquainted with the source, but this is nicely done--it captures the feel of the shows even as it mocks them. Features adaptive hints, though they don't always work as well as they might (particularly in the first section).

Brass Lantern
If the whole game had been like the "Bewitched" chapter, I'd recommend it unreservedly. If the whole game had been like the "Three's Company" chapter I'd just as unreservedly recommend against it. As it stands, I recommend this game for people who watched a lot of American TV in the 1970s and listened to the radio a lot in the 1980s.
