Best of Show, Still Life - 2001 IF Art Show
An interesting puzzleless still life of four exhibits at an art show. Curious patterns weave through it, and built-in critical commentary from different perspectives raises questions about art and how we judge it. Food for thought, food for thought.

Ribbons is a fifteen-minute game at most, but it's a worthwhile fifteen minutes. As with Exhibition, reading the critics' thoughts is far and away the meat of the game, but those thoughts are good enough that that's not faint praise.

My favourite Art Show entry so far: interesting objects, with interesting (if quite little) interactions that fit together in interesting ways. Discrete elements that wait to be joined together in a mental jigsaw. The only thing that would have made me happier is if it had some kind of ending, some kind of net result to uncovering and understanding the way things fitted together.
