![]() by Sorrel The Lighthouse has a moody, dark atmosphere, with a few plot surprises that might make you shiver a little if you've been reading carefully. You start of as a tourist, heading to see the famous lighthouse in the midst of a heavy rain, with a broken arm, and a hill to climb. The plot itself isn't very original. The scenario of tourists stumbling onto dark secrets in creepy buildings has been done before. However, the author does put a new spin on it. There are some poignantly scary seems that have been written well. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No Remove vote | Add a comment

There are multiple endings you can reach, but (from what I've seen) only one can be considered moderately happy. " Multiple endings? Care to share some tips? I made it into day 2 of "Anchorhead" without any hints, yet no matter what actions I try in "Lighthouse", I always end up dying by about move 5 or 6. I haven't found any hints online about it either--what am I missing here? Sorrel, February 23, 2010 - Reply I assume you're getting stuck at the point where (Spoiler - click to show) the sweet old lady comes at you with a knife. It is a bit tricky to figure out the verb for that part. Think about your location at that point, with that terribly unsafe railing so close by... The verb you need to use is (Spoiler - click to show) "push" . From then on, you should be able to figure it out. Hope that helped -Sorrel |
