1-6 of 6 This game might have gotten a score of 7 from me in the best possible case: amusing, with some interesting puzzles, but still built from a clichéd set of ideas at the core. That'd be worth a 7 on my scale. However, I got frustrated and stuck a lot, and the READ thing was pretty annoying, and I wasn't able to finish in two hours. Sorry, but that's how it goes, I guess.

It's an old-fashioned puzzlefest with a nameless PC and a rollercoaster adventure plot... It's got some colorful writing, a fun story, and is capable of producing genuine tension and horror at times... Any game that sets pointless, arbitrary limits that severely impede the player is a game that drains itself of pleasure, but all the same, I continued to grit my teeth and power through because I really wanted to see what happened next.

A defeat-the-aliens game after a slow start, February 4, 2016by MathBrush This is a bit longer than most IFComp games; I didn't like it at first, but it really grew on me. In this game, you have to sneak onto a spaceship (a tedious opening sequence). Afterwards, you get to space and discover the (strongly telegraphed from the beginning) secret that the aliens are out to get the humans! Was this review helpful to you?
