i've been playing IF since i first got my hands on Zork II in grade school. i'm deliriously happy that the art of interactive fiction has continued to be explored to the present!
i like games with high interactivity, which give you a choice of problems to tackle at any given time. the critical drum i beat the hardest is immersion -- even a treasure hunt game can be immersive if it really feels like you're there and there are reasonable responses for everything you type.
i have a bad habit of reviewing bursts of games that are somehow related to one another. i write a review, then i notice the page suggests another game that i've also played, so i go review that, and so on.
i type like this because i'm not a capitalist.
