This piece applies a Black Mirror lens onto choose your own adventure. It is very intriguing. Definitely worth a try if you have Netflix. However, the biggest appeal is the novelty.

As a game, it’s simple but novel enough given the context, and it works hard to avoid wasting your time.... Once the novelty wears off, though, the emptiness is hard to ignore.
