About the Story

in the dark you hear a rattling chain.

a captive, just like you.

chains in the night is a short visual novel for the (no) dialogue game jam, and my first game.

escape the dark fairy dungeon you've been trapped in, to begin a life you've been too afraid to start living in an introspective narrative adventure with a silent collaborator.

[ format ]

  • / 2nd person pov
  • / 4k words
  • / 1 (reachable) ending... i'll update with the other one soon
  • / ...variable art & writing quality. had some bad planning and circumstance, and barely submitted it in time. i'll try to clean it up after i get some rest :') lessons learned.
