You write the official record of a valley, and the valley lives with what you write.
You are the Chronicler. You ride out to incidents — a mine collapse, a barn fire, a disputed will — take notes at the scene, and seal a binding finding into a permanent record. The record is then acted on: compensation, inheritance, guilt, prosecution.
The game never tells you whether you were right. Evidence can be permanently missed, and the game never reveals that anything was. There are no meters and no scores; your credibility exists only in how people greet you.
Eight cases plus a prologue, about an hour. Plays free in the browser.
