About the Story

There have been several murders in and around your village recently. The police believe it to be some kind of maniac that derives pleasure from burning people to death. However, they cannot explain how the victims are reduced to ash, but their clothes remain uncharred.

You are a psychic writer and a week ago, two friends of yours approached you with a mystery. One of them had been attacked by some type of entity, leaving him with a burn on his side in the shape of a large handprint where he had been grabbed by the entity/demon. You are a member of a coven of witches and they were also attacked a day before your friend was injured.

You believe that these two incidents are somehow connected.
