You're thrown through time and must discover a way to get home. Or to get back. You'll fight your way through fire and water and whatnot. But mostly you'll fight your way through the parser. A typically AGT game, valid commands are not recognized unless the exact situation the author had in mind is met. Frustrating to play, for that reason. The game does have quite a bit of unintentionally amusing text and, being better than Matt Barringer's "Detective", might make for some amusing MST-fodder. There's also what appears to be a bug which prevents playing the last 10% or so of the game. Just thought I'd mention that since I did get at least that far.

The best that can be said for it is the unintentionally amusing bits and pieces. When you get a sentence which starts, "He grabs you under your legs...", it can't help but bring a smile to your face. While these phrases are rare, they occur often enough to mitigate some of the deleterious effects of the rest of the writing. It's not in every game that you see a "forst of lush green ivory" or learn that a robot can shut himself down "for an infinite number of years with no damage."
