RSS FeedWhile we want to put something like Trump behind us, it's not easy. Humor can help. So can comparing him to a historical villain. I'm interested in other efforts that have a clearly Trump-ish character in them, whether skewering his mannerisms, greed or all of the above.

"We" implies everyone on here. I think Donald Trump was the best US President since Ronald Reagan. A break from the feckless Democrats of recent times.

I'm going to assume it's a majority.
I'm also amused that someone located outside the US would admire the "AmErIcA fIrSt" president.

Aye, but then quality is seldom predicated on mass consumer appeal. Perhaps the sheen of distance and non partisanship affords a more even handed appraisal. At least I have heard of the US president; I have seldom met a US citizen who even knew who our Prime Minister was, let alone be capable of formulating an opinion as to his suitability for office. By the way, I think he is a bumbling, narcissistic incompetent but who else is there? Modern politics is full of mountebanks and PR men. At least in days gone by they had a stance. Nowadays the fear of alienating any social group whatsoever precludes intelligent government.

Pre-Trump Trumps are very welcome! I'd be interested in works that were prescient in any degree--also, it'd be interesting to read a not on who was specifically lampooned and why.
After all, Trumpism isn't just/all about Trump, even if great minds like Trump himself think so.
