Dash Slapney: Patrol Leader was a Speed-IF experiment. My main goal was to rig the patrol scores for some sort of fake drama and throw in a bunch of other silly jokes.
After seeing the game played through, I decided to add some user-friendliness and also change the endings based on which events you solve.
I thought some people might find the source code interesting because of the gadgets I used to randomize the patrol scores, and maybe it'll inspire some random vaguely similar mechanic in someone else's work.
I enjoyed touching the source code up, and if someone is on the fence about sharing it, I recommend you do--it helped me check off things to touch up. I'm also interested in comments about how I can organize things better.
