The Hundredth Floor: mega epic review by yours truly, February 3, 2025

The Hundredth Floor is a game like no other. I mean, that should be obvious to you even by now (assuming you've never heard of this game) since no game is exactly the same as another. (And particularly for this game we ought to consider that despite it having drawn plenty of inspiration from sources like Sword Art Online (and even then I do say "sources" because SAO is not a game, and THF certainly is.)

Now, I don't wanna spoil the game (not that I got to finish it or anything) but I will say you can certainly clear floors in it (I mean, duh, as they say, because like, the game is called "The Hundredth Floor", so floors ought to be expected.) SPOILER: (Spoiler - click to show)the game does not have 100 floors yet but that's okay because TechnoBen will keep working on it until he leaves this Earth.

The gameplay is already pretty good but the developer will release an update pretty soon that will add to the combat I think because that's what damage types tend to affect.

All in all I think the five-star rating is pretty justified but if the game had some form of on-line gamemode it would behoove any reviewer to give it six.

PD: I know it's mostly a text based game but I like the artistic style of the few graphic things that the game does display to you.
