I'm not sure what I can do where I am; I haven't found a light source or an offering, and the mountain teleporty thing seems to end the options of where I can go. I do have the amulet and the mask but that's about it and.

In case you're still playing this little gem of a text adventure: you must wear the mask in the Dark Forest location, in order to proceed north. Putting it on anywhere else doesn't work.
You also need to replace the head of the menhir, which is hidden in the clearing with the menhir itself.
If this game had been 5 times bigger, with same atmosphere throughout, and same quality of puzzles, it would have been a minor classic.
