About the Story

Your body is made of waves is a short text-based game experience, an interactive poem that invites meditation and self-cognition Inspired by Yoko Ono's instructional poetry and Alejandro Jodorowsky's psychomagic poetry, the prototype was conceived and developed in 48 hours during the 2017 edition of Global Game Jam, Milan site.

The interactive text is divided into three “acts” – Your body is made of roots / skins / masks – each of which proposes one among 24 surreal ritual exercises for the player to perform in reality, depending on the choices he/she makes.

Your body is made of waves was developed with the experimental interactive writing tool Texture, based on a “word-on-word” interaction mechanic designed for use both by mouse from a computer and by touch from a mobile phone.
